This limitation does not apply to in-person services we perform. Liability for our installation, repair, and maintenance work is governed by our written workmanship warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty on parts we install, and our commercial general liability insurance. We carry insurance specifically because we stand behind the work we perform.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uplifting Garage Doors from claims arising out of (a) your misuse of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your attempt to perform garage door repairs, installations, or modifications based on Site content without engaging a qualified technician.
This indemnification clause applies to Site use only. It does not transfer to you any responsibility for damages caused by our negligence, our workmanship, or our employees during services we perform.
8. Service Estimates & Pricing
Estimates provided on the Site, by phone, or before work begins are good-faith quotes based on the information you’ve shared. Final pricing may adjust if the actual condition of the door, hardware, or installation differs from what was described — and we’ll communicate any change in writing before doing the work.
9. Workmanship & Parts Warranty
Services performed by Uplifting Garage Doors carry a workmanship warranty as stated on your service invoice. Manufacturer parts warranties (springs, openers, doors) pass through to you and are honored per the manufacturer’s terms. Warranty details for your specific job will be provided in writing at the time of service.
10. Scheduling, Cancellation & Access
By scheduling a service appointment, you agree to (1) provide accurate location and contact information, (2) clear a reasonable working area around the door, and (3) be present or designate an adult to authorize work and accept the invoice. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a trip-charge fee.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other terms have been agreed to in writing. We accept cash, credit/debit card, and check. Returned checks and declined cards are subject to a $25 processing fee plus any costs of collection.
12. Photos & Marketing Use
Before-and-after photos taken at the job site may be used in marketing materials, on our website, or on social media, with no personally identifying information (license plates, house numbers, faces) shown without your consent. If you’d prefer your job not be photographed, just tell the technician on-site.
13. Force Majeure
Uplifting Garage Doors is not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, supplier delays, power outages, road closures, or emergencies affecting our team.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

16. Severability
